Personal Statement

My name is Anna Keppel and I currently attend Saint Joseph's University, where I am majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Psychology.
I believe with whatever I end up doing as a job, I am going to make sure that it is one that benefits everything and everyone. I do not know specifically what job title i would like, but i know that i want it to be beneficial to society and i want it to change the world in some way. I have made this belief real so far in college by joining nonprofit organizations and spreading their messages through video productions and writing pieces.
I hopefully have changed the course of life for others in a positive way. Hopefully I will find my passion and something that I am really good at that will help me achieve the goal of working in a nonprofit. The question is “what is the result of these beliefs?” I'm not quite sure how to answer this, but again I would say the end result is that i have a video project out there on youtube that is spreading awareness of one problem that I am passionate about, and my beliefs have made me grow even deeper in love with non profit organizations and what they have to offer for those who are in the field of communications.
